Project
Synect needed an advanced content management system to apply their digital content across complex airport environments. The original application became inefficient as client volume expanded and time to deploy shrunk significantly. SynectCMS was a propreitary, in-house solution to meet the agency’s need for rapid testing and deployment.
Challenges
Creating a scalable robust application with unique user behaviors and a coherent design language. I collaborated with the Dev team and main users to evaluate pain points and desired functionality. The overall tool needed to have features like a video editing tool, render tool, scheduling tool, asset library tool, and deployment tool all in one.

WireframEs
This is an example of only the Composition screen wireframe. We started wireframing the Composition screen first as that was the most fundamental touchpoint of the entire tool. Establishing the UX at this stage would determine the basic functions for the rest of the tool.
Material Design
Colors, Typography, and Components were all organized in an asset library easily accessible and editable as the tool continued to expand and be iterated on.
Results
The platform is currently being used by one of Synect's major airport clients, Orlando International Airport. Synect also continued to develop iterations based on user needs. I made sure to document and organize all components and design files so that further iterations would be seamless.
